Dawn is a Titusville native who has spent her entire career serving her community. She began nursing in 2002 on the cardiovascular progressive care unit at Florida Hospital, earned her Master's degree, and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2006. For nearly two decades she built her own patient relationships at two area practices before opening Be Well Family Care in 2025.

She opened Be Well because she wanted the freedom to practice the way she believes medicine should be done — spending real time with patients, ordering the labs that actually matter, and building relationships that go beyond a 10-minute visit. This is her community, and her patients are her neighbors.

I usually get tremendous anxiety going to the doctor but from Lisa greeting me the moment I walk in, and already prepared with referrals and follow up dates the moment I leave the exam room, NP Banke and her lovely staff have put an end to that! Always kind, compassionate, and wearing sweet smiles!! NP Banke sits with you and looks you in the eye, listens intently, and treats you like a human, not a number! She couldn’t have been more thorough in covering all the bases.
